The Regional Counselling and Support Centers (ReBUZ) are the first point of contact for advice, diagnosis, prevention, and support for school-related problems for parents, students, and teachers.

Bremen offers many youth recreation centers, sports clubs, cultural projects and open youth centers.

There are specialized counseling centers that cater exclusively to girls (e.g., Mädchenhaus Bremen) or boys (e.g., Jungen-Büro), as well as services for queer youth. In addition, there are counseling services and consultation hours on gender-specific issues.
