Are you interested in social media, family education, concept development, and relaunches? Then join us! As a specialist agency, we are looking for an intern to support our small Bremen team from mid-January 2024 or later, either as part of a mandatory internship or a practical semester.
Many opportunities within a small team
“We offer many opportunities for different professional interests,” says Anja Lohse, head of the Bremen family network. “Whether managing our Instagram channel, participating in networks and professional events, or pursuing your own project – with us you can get to know the landscape of the social support system in the city of Bremen very well and also pursue your own areas of focus.”
What we offer and make possible for you in detail:
- Contribution to the content-related project conception
- Contributing to the concept and editorial content of our social media channels and managing our Instagram account
- Topic research for social media, etc.
- Maintenance and updating of the database
- Collaboration on various projects (2025: website relaunch) and/or an own project
- Creation and maintenance of distribution lists
- Insights into professional coordination activities
- Preparation and support for the meetings of the Family Education Network (spring and autumn 2025)
- Participation in specialist events, working groups, etc.
Flexible hours and always an open ear
“Reliability, an independent work ethic, and an open and friendly attitude are important to us,” explains Anja Lohse regarding the requirements for an internship at Familiennetz Bremen. Those interested should have at least eight weeks available and be able to be on-site at least four days a week.
“One advantage is certainly that our weekly working hours are family-friendly: they are flexible and can easily be done part-time,” the educator adds. “This also allows people who perform care work and/or have a second job to complete a professionally supervised internship.”
What we expect from you:
- You are studying social work, social pedagogy, educational science, health science, social science, or a similar field, or you are completing school or vocational training
- You are proficient in using MS Office and social media (especially Instagram) and/or are willing to learn how to do so
- You are creative and have a feel for current topics and trends
- You have excellent German spelling skills and good German language skills; knowledge of other foreign and heritage languages is a plus
- You can work independently, responsibly and in a structured manner
Do you want to apply?
If you have any questions, please contact Anja Lohse and Barbara Peper. Please submit your application exclusively by email. Your personal data will be stored for the application process. If your application is unsuccessful, it will be deleted after the selection process is complete.
A few important points:
- We can only offer an internship as part of an education or studies program (e.g., practical semester, specialist internship), meaning it must be a mandatory internship!
- Unfortunately, the internship cannot be paid.
- We do not offer a practical partnership for the IU – International University!
- With us, you won't work directly with families and/or family members!
