Support in health matters
Would you like to learn more about the services offered by the Bremen Parents' Workshop or receive support as a daycare center? The State Association for Health and Academy for Social Medicine Lower Saxony Bremen e. V., through its Parents' Workshop, is committed to promoting the health and parenting skills of parents and the health of children in Bremen. The workshop aims to support daycare professionals in creating a health-promoting environment for themselves and their families. To this end, needs are identified and new or supplementary services are developed – depending on the specific requirements of each daycare center.
About the Bremen Parents' Workshop
Daily life in families can be hectic and sometimes challenging. Parents in difficult circumstances, such as being unemployed, low-income earners, or single parents, often face multiple burdens and worries. These can affect the entire family.
The services and routines offered in daycare centers are sometimes still too inaccessible or not sufficiently tailored to the needs of all parents. Language barriers can also hinder communication between staff and parent groups with a migration background. Regardless, all parents want their children to grow up healthy. The Bremen Parents' Workshop aims to support parents and children in this endeavor through collaboration with daycare centers.
