Children and teenagers come into contact with legal and illegal drugs sooner or later. The responsible use of smartphones, video games, and social media also presents challenges for both children and parents. This phase often leads to family conflicts: parents worry about their daughter or son, while the children want to test themselves and their limits.
ELSA's free service is provided by professional counselors from addiction counseling centers throughout Germany. All members of the counseling team work as drug and addiction counselors in outpatient counseling centers and have many years of experience advising users and their families. Since the beginning of 2024, ELSA has been integrated into the DigiSucht counseling platform.
