The children's and youth helpline of "Nummer gegen Kummer" (Number against Sorrow) under the telephone number 116 111 is there for you – no matter what it's about.
Is there something making you unhappy? The children's and youth helpline at 116 111 is there for you! The counselors are there to support you and talk to you about your worries, troubles, or fears. It doesn't matter what it's about: stress with parents, friends, or classmates; bullying online or at school? Anxiety, abuse, eating disorders, depression, or addiction? You can tell or explain a lot in a short time on the phone. The exchange with the counselors is direct and personal; both sides can ask questions directly if something is unclear.
No matter what it's about, you can get advice by phone or online. Always free and anonymous. The consultation is anonymous and confidential. You don't have to give your name or any other personal information. Everything you discuss with us stays between us. The call won't appear on your phone bill.
Don't be afraid that we'll find your worries ridiculous or "not normal." They're making you unhappy, so it's perfectly okay to confide in someone. We'll advise you, brainstorm together what might help in your situation, or simply listen. We take all your problems seriously.
Young people advising young people
If you think, "The adults don't understand me anyway!" or you have worries and questions you'd rather discuss with someone your own age, but not necessarily a friend, then our young counselors, aged 16 to 27, are there for you. They will treat all your concerns confidentially and take plenty of time for you. Every Saturday from 2 pm to 8 pm, call 116 111.
