Digital media from the first year of life

Children are starting to use digital media at increasingly younger ages. On average, they have their first contact with these media at the age of one. Because many parents haven't implemented any safety measures, children have unrestricted access to the internet. Families, as well as professionals, see challenges in children's media use.

Online training ISES! Kids offers support for parents

To offer support to parents, the online training program ISES! Kids (Internet Addiction: Empowering Parents) from the University Hospital of Tübingen will be available from October 2025. ISES! Kids is a digital prevention program for parents of children aged 6 to 12. ISES! Kids aims to show parents ways to manage their children's media consumption and provide them with tips on how to address this behavior.

Use only possible via licenses

ISES! Kids consists of four modules that parents can complete at home or in family centers. Each module takes 10-30 minutes. Parents can ask questions of a certified psychologist via a messenger service, and the modules can be reviewed with professionals at family centers. To use ISES! Kids, the centers receive licenses which they can then distribute to families.
