After 20 years, bke's online counseling service is moving to a new platform: Starting June 8, 2024, mothers and fathers can find bke's nationwide parent counseling service at www.bke-beratung.de under the "Parent Counseling" menu item. Chat counseling, individual counseling, forums, and group chats offer parents a wide range of options.
Online counseling for parents
Parents can find help here with any concerns, big or small, regarding raising their children. Whether you have questions about very young children, school problems, stress during puberty, or changes within the family: at the Federal Conference for Educational Counseling (Bundeskonferenz für Erziehungsberatung e.V.), the professional association for educational, family, and youth counseling, you will find professional parenting advice and the opportunity to connect with many other parents – free of charge, anonymously, and with data security.
Anyone currently using the bke online counseling service must re-register on the new platform for technical reasons. Parents can find the registration option under "Parent Counseling" and then in the "Online Counseling" section under "Register." Existing nicknames can still be used.
Simply access email consultation
Anyone currently using email counseling must start a new email counseling session with their new account. This can be done by clicking the button under Parent Counseling / Online Counseling / Envelope icon. The subject line of the new request can include the nickname of the previous counselor. This allows the counseling session to be reassigned directly to that counselor and the counseling process to continue.
No data transfer
No consultation data will be transferred from the old system during the migration to the new consultation platform. Only some posts from the forum, blog, and podcast will now be available under their respective menu items.
New service: Live chat
Parents interested in this service, which requires no registration, can now get information about bke parental counseling in a live chat without needing to sign up. Our specialists will answer initial questions.
The chat window can be found on the right side of the screen during opening hours. Currently, there are still technical difficulties with some mobile devices. If possible, please use a different device in this case.
Open consultation hours for personal questions and problems
In individual chats, parents can discuss personal problems and questions directly with a counselor, but only via text. Parents can enter the "consultation room" at the specified times. From there, they will be invited to the chat.
Webinars for parents
Parents can participate in the bke parent counseling webinars without prior registration. To protect anonymity, no real names were used. The webinar is designed to comply with GDPR regulations.
